phi·lan·thro·py – hard to say, but easy to do. 

We are calling on the members of the NYC Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association to support our Philanthropy Committee.  We are in need of volunteers to join this noble committee and its work raising money for both THON and the NYC Chapter scholarship endowment.  Over the next 4-years this committee will spearhead an effort to raise money for a newly endowed scholarship to assist a local Penn State student.
