The Community Service Committee is responsible for coordinating volunteer opportunities for our Chapter members in order to give back to both Penn State and our New York City community.

We strive to offer a number of different activities that touch a wide array of charitable causes. This includes offering a standing monthly event designed for a small group of member volunteers, as well as one-off events that can involve larger groups of both members and non-members. Sign-ups for our activities will be advertised on this page, in the Chapter newsletter, and at our regular Chapter happy hours, where appropriate.

We know that community service and volunteering is important to many of our members so any ideas for activities are most welcome! If you are interested in joining the Community Service Committee, please contact our Chairs, Walter Kowalski and Salil Parikh.
