Message from a Fellow Penn Stater

What do you get when you combine one of the greatest cities in the world with over 23,000 alumni from the greatest university in the world? An amazing group of loyal Penn Staters spreading Nittany Lion pride throughout the Big Apple!

The New York City Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association is here for local alumni who want to meet, mingle and network with other Penn Staters, give back to Dear Old State through philanthropic efforts including our Scholarship Fund or THON fundraising events, volunteer in the Big Apple by participating in community service events, and maintain a connection to our alma mater.
 

Why should you become a member?  Most importantly, dues from membership support all of our events and keep our Chapter running from day to day. Becoming a member also gives you access to members-only events and discount programs as well as contributes to our Michael D. Ferugio Scholarship Fund, which benefits incoming PSU freshmen of need who show great Penn State Pride. And because we're a qualified exempt 501c(3) organization, your membership fee is tax deductible.

To our current members - we can't thank you enough for your support. It's because of your contributions that we are able to offer great events and make the NYC Chapter one of the best in the country!  A special thanks to all the volunteers who keep the organization running smoothly; we couldn't do it without you!
