As our Chapter continues to grow, we have set a goal to support philanthropic causes associated with Penn State and in our local area. The Philanthropy Committee’s mission is to support and grow our endowed Michael D. Ferugio Scholarship Fund, manage local fundraising events for THON, and enhance the efforts of Penn State's Office of University Development and the Nittany Lion Club.

Through our recent work, we currently have one endowed scholarship and are planning a four-year fundraising drive to grow this endowment. Working with the Dance Marathon Alumni Interest Group and the Northern New Jersey Chapter, we host an annual Hope Gala each January, to benefit THON and The Four Diamonds Fund.
