Volunteer and Explore Dutch Colonial History at Dyckman Farmhouse
Spend some time learning about this Upper Manhattan landmark and hanging out with fellow Penn State Alums!
Location: Dyckman House, 4881 Broadway @ 204th St, Manhattan
Date: Saturday, 4/28/2018
Time: 9:30 AM – 1 PM
Event Highlights: We will be given a private guided tour of the Dyckman Farmhouse which was built in 1784 and was featured on Bob Vila’s Guide to Historic Homes of America. After this tour, we will volunteer our time with the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation sprucing up the property and taackling some yardwork! It's a way to give back and keep up the history and ensure that this vital cultural asset lives on for future generations.
