Congrats to our 2020 Michael D. Ferugio Scholarship Recipients!

This year, the scholarship committee received 26 applications for the Michael D. Ferugio Scholarship – the most since the scholarship’s inception. We are also proud to say that we were able to award the largest amount of money to date! We’d like to congratulate our 2020 scholarship recipients, Courtney Aubain, Kevin Murray, and Daniel Chapman, who were each awarded $3,557 in scholarship money for the upcoming school year. The scholarship winners were announced on Sunday, Aug. 9, during our virtual annual Student Sendoff celebration via Zoom.

We’d like to extend a big thank you to the alumni volunteers, members of the Parents Council, and current students representing the Blue & White Society and Lion Ambassadors who joined in to answer the questions of eager incoming freshman, just a little over a week before move-in. Though this event looked a little different this year compared to years past, we are confident as ever that the students left the Zoom call more excited and informed about Penn State.

We wish all incoming freshman the best and hope they enjoy their experience as a Nittany Lion – this is only just the beginning!
